PRODUCTION PROCESSES AND ORGANISATION

We manufacture on a client order-specific basis, offer standardised delivery classes and generally dispatch products within three days.
Our production logistics are organised according to the Kanban principle, a special scheduling system that guarantees short supply cycles and minimal work in progress.
Lean management and standardisation ensure that we are constantly improving our highly efficient production facilities.

Environmental protection

Fronius attaches the utmost importance to satisfying the requirements of all the relevant environmental protection legislation and standards. In addition to this, our compliance with various environmental regulations also helps our suppliers and contract partners to improve their environmental protection measures.

DODD-FRANK ACT - CONFLICT MINERALS

In accordance with our corporate philosophy “We follow a legally compliant financial and tax policy”, Fronius only accepts goods from suppliers that are free from conflict minerals. We put our suppliers under an obligation to comply with the regulations of the Dodd-Frank-Act.

ISO 14001 certification

Environmental protection is an essential corporate value for Fronius and is standardised in an environmental management system. This was granted ISO 14001 certification in 2014.

ISO 9001 certification

The commitment to quality has been a central component of our corporate policy for many years. Our quality management system was granted ISO 9001 certification during an external audit as early as 1993.

ISO 45001 certification (formerly OHSAS 18001)

In recent years, Fronius has successfully implemented numerous measures in respect of occupational health and safety, and also achieved ISO 45001 certification.

ONR 192500 certification

To ensure that the issue of sustainability is equally embedded in all areas of the company, Fronius has introduced a strategic management system for corporate social responsibility. It is certified in accordance with the ONR 192500 standard, which defines how Austrian organizations and companies fulfil their social obligations.

ISO 27001 Certification

Fronius' Information Security Management System (ISMS) is certified according to the international standard ISO 27001. This certifies a high standard of our IT and development processes with regard to information security. All activities in the ISMS serve to maintain and improve the information security of our products and digital services.
